Taken at mid-day. No polarizer and no adjustments to image.
I shot several images of this bird
who posed quite a while. I usually shoot colored birds, but this one
caught my eye. I was pleased with the texture of the feathers.

| Dear M.E.,
Composition is nice with the room
between the head and the left edge of the frame. I like the action
of the claw holding the stick and the chewing a leaf - it is much
better than a static shot. There seems to be a slight catch light
which could be better if it was slightly stronger. There is good
isolation with the blurred background. Exposure is good considering
it looks like full sun.

| Dear Gary,
You have metered the image correctly, the subject being the foliage
and flowers. The window does a good job of creating interest and
mood. The wide angle lens creates keystoning of the window. A longer
lens would solve that, but you might have lost your flowers.
This is a pleasant image. The effect of shooting outdoor subjects
from inside a building gives a nice feeling.
